Resurrection Rolls & Dying Eggs

The night before Easter we made ressurection rolls and dyed some eggs. The girls LOVE ressurection rolls. I like making them to reinforce the true meaning of Easter and talk about this wonderful gift that the Savior gave us. While making the rolls, each step emphasizes a part of the Easter story. The marshmallow represents Christ the butter and cinnamon sugar represent the washing and anoiting of the body. The crescent roll is the burial linens and the oven is the tomb. When they are done cooking and you open a roll, the marshmallow is gone! Hence, representing the resurrection. It actually tastes good too. If anyone would like the detailed recipe, leave a comment or email me and I'll email you the recipe/story. Great for kids!!
