Every spring they have Artbreak that the Shreveport Convention Center. It is a huge showcasing of children's art from all the area schools elementary through high school. Bailee's teacher submitted her short story "I Hate Being a Shoe that Talks!" and it was one out of 20 from her whole school to be showcased for Artbreak. We looked and looked for it and couldn't find it! :-( But, she did bring a ribbon home from school for her submission. They also have lots of hands on activities for the kids to do and the girls made LOTS of things. It was really fun and we spent about 3 hours there doing all the fun stuff. Take a look at the fun we had.
