Mardi Gras Museum Field Trip

Yesterday, Kassi's pre-K class went on a field trip to the Mardi Gras Museum of the Krewe of Gemini. I went as a chaperon, but truthfully wanted to see the Museum as well. It was so neat! The Krewe Royalty costumes were fantastic. The pictures don't do them justice, but they are all full of intricate details, absolutely gorgeous. Kassi was very excited to see the Gemini King and Queen for this year and the Duke of Texas. We are now eagerly waiting to go to the Krewe of Centaur Mardi Gras Parade the 14th. Billy also has instructed me to go out today and get a king cake. I can't believe I haven't pick one up yet. Happy Mardi Gras!
