We have a Winner!!!
Today, Bailee was in the American Heritage Poetry Contest at her school. She had to recite a poem reflecting American Heritage. Today, she competed against the entire 2nd grade of her school. They picked four out of the second grade to compete next Friday at a school wide level. She was chosen as one of the four for the entire second grade! Then, I believe four or five from the entire school will compete in a school district level next month. We are so proud of her. I'm busting at the seams. She did a great job and was so excited to get a trophy. Way to go Bailee! Yay!!

no, she just had to recite one that was 12 lines. We found it on the internet. We are so proud of her. She did great!

Way to go, Bailee! Just remember, if you get nervous, just picture your competition in their underwear - you'll feel much better!!
