My friend, Sierra, decorated Kassi's cake for me. I've never done anything with fondant before and knew I couldn't do it myself. NO WAY. She came out to my house and was in and out in about an hour! It turned out sooo cute! Plus we had fun yaking while she was doing it. The most I did was a small bit of rolling out some of the fondant. She is the creative genius. She did a fantastic job. There were LOTS of compliments on how cute it was. Thanks Sierra!

I decorated the table all fancy. The girls loved drinking out of the plastic stemed glasses. They looked so real.

Fancy Nancy says everything is fancier in French. You simply must have an Eiffle Tower.

Thanksgiving

We went to Billy's parents for Thanksgiving. It was a long and fun weekend. The girls were so excited to see Nana & Papa. Billy and his dad went fishing Friday and Saturday. Billy got a nice 4-pounder on Friday. (He sent me a picture on my phone, but I haven't got it off my phone yet.) Friday morning, my SIL, Samantha, and I got up at 4 am and went to Walmart for Black Friday. We got there at 4:30 and split up to get in line for the things we wanted. Walmart was insane. It was so crowded we lost our cell phone signals and couldn't get a hold of eachother to find eachother. We were stuck in there for 3 1/2 hours because of all the people and we couldn't find eachother. We got home around 8, but we got what we wanted. I then went back out with Betty and the girls until about lunch time. Then, I went back out again and got back about three. I just shopped all day and picked up some good deals.

Friday night we met Billy's extended family (Aunt Vanessa and James, Uncle Cliff & Aunt Linda, Josh & Candice, and Devin & Becky) downtown Ft. Worth for the parade to ring in Christmas season. It was a lot of fun.

Kassidy and Candice. (Shout out, girl!) The girls love Candice! They had so much fun with her. Josh drew them some pictures and they thought that was da bomb. However, Kassi did not want anything to do with Devin! She gave him her diva cold shoulder all night no matter what we told her. Crazy girl.

At the parade Aunt Linda bought the girls these awesome light makers. Too cool. Thank you!

We also saw the Nutcracker and the Sugar Plum Fairy. That poor fairy was freezing.

Here we all are shooting the bull and eating. It was sooo fun to see everyone and hang out!

Saturday we went over to see Nanny. The girls helped Nana and Aunt Vanessa decorate for Christmas. As you can see the girls did a great job on the Christmas tree. They went all out with the gold balls.

Catch up!

Sorry I have been a major slacker in posting! I've been busy. Here's a quick catch up from my last post. The Friday before Thanksgiving Kassi had her Thanksgiving program at preschool. She was an Indian and had to say, "And live in the wilderness just like we do." She did great! Also that Friday it was dress as your favorite book character day at Bailee's school. She went as Nim from Nim's Island. I was a fun day at school before they got out for vacation.

Husband Tag!

Okay, here's another one. Kind of fun. Here we go...
1. Where did you meet?
We met at Club Nadir (dance club) in Riverdale, Utah. Billy was at Hill AFB and I was going to Utah State in Logan. My girlfriends and I were bored with the Logan scene so we went to Ogden. He actually danced with my friend, Jessie first and then I saw him again the next week. We went out on a date the next day and were together ever since.

2. How long did you date before you got married?
A year. We dated six months and got engaged and got married six months after that.

3. How long have you been married?
11 1/2 years. It will be 12 years in March.

4. What is your favorite feature of his?
I love his broad shoulders. I love to hug him. There are lots of things. He's just HOT!

5. What is your favorite quality of his?
He is driven. Sooo driven. Whatever he takes on he always gives it his all. He emerses himself into it.

6. Does he have a nickname for you?
Woman.

7. What is his favorite color?
Red.

8. What is his favorite food?
Steak and shrimp.

9. What is his favorite sport?
Can anybody guess???? FISHING AND FOOTBALL of course!

10. When and where was your first kiss?
Gosh! It took him forever to kiss me. We would go out on date after date and I would go home and talk with my roommate, Jessie about what we thought his deal was. Finally after about a month of dating, I was in my car leaving his house in Layton to go back to my house in Logan. I had the window rolled down saying bye and he finally leaned in the window to kiss me. Yea!! It was worth it!

11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?
We don't get out much, so I would say just watching a movie after the kids have gone to bed.

12. Do you have any children?
Billy has Morgan 18 and Lindsey 14 1/2 and then together we have Bailee 7 1/2 and Kassidy who is almost 5 in 3 weeks.

13. Does he have a hidden talent?
Oh my gosh! Yes! He is the biggest handyman! It never ceases to amaze me what he can do without ever doing it before. He is putting up drywall in our living room right now. He also has restored boats and rebuilt boat motors. He can fixup anything.

14. How old his he?
40!

15. Who said "I love you" first?
I did.

16. What is his favorite type of music?
He's a country boy.

17. What do you admire most about him?
He is so smart. It amazes me. He doesn't have to study for anything. I'm so glad my kids got some of his genes.

5 Quirks Tag

I've been a slacker blogger lately. Sorry! Just getting around to my tags. Let's see 5 quirks...
1. I have to hang my clothes up according to color. I have all the whites together, blacks, pinks, blues etc. all together, but dresses and skirts don't matter, but I have all the dresses together and all the skirts together.

2. I have a germ thing. Especially in public bathrooms. I cannot touch the door to leave the bathroom. I have to use a paper towel to open the door or my shirt sleeve or the bottom of my shirt to grab the door handle. We have plenty of Germ-X.

3. I have to sleep on the side of the bed that is closest to the door. Ever since I was a kid. I have to have a direct B-line to the door in case I have to get out.

4. I do not like to eat chicken with bones in it, hate it. I love chicken, but it has to be boneless.

5. I hate open drawers. Some nameless individuals in my family leave them open all the time and it about throws me into a seizure. What is so hard about closing it after you get what you need?

I'm sure Billy could tell you many more. I tag Lori, Sara, and Amie and anyone who wants to.

Primary Program

Here's my gorgeous girls in their new Christmas dresses. They were so excited to wear them today as they had their primary program. They both did sooo good with their parts and sang so pretty. All the children did well. It was actually one of the better primary programs I have seen. Kassi was so funny as she had to keep eye contact with me the whole time to make sure I was watching her. I'm sad Billy had to miss it, he had his end of year Bass tournament at Toledo Bend this weekend and was out of town. But, he did win $100 Saturday for biggest bass of the day! Way to go baby!
