Legacy Light Night

Since the school's Halloween festivities had to be postponed because of the tornado, we had it the Monday after Halloween. I'm room mom for both Bailee and Kassi's class. So, I was busy on two class pumpkin displays. Bailee's class was Wizard of Oz. Her real teacher is out on maternity leave, so she has a long term sub. Her teach was portrayed at Dorothy and the Sub was the Wicked Witch of the West. The students were flying monkeys. It was really cute!. I made Dorothy, Toto, and the Witch and helped the kids make their monkeys. It was a lot of work, but it paid off. Bailee's class one for the whole Third Grade! Yay.

I had a great day for my birthday. That night we went out to my favorite sushi restaurant and Billy got me a huge birthday cookie. It was a lot of fun.

Corn Maze

We did make it to the corn maze to pick our pumpkins. It was really muddy, but it was still fun. The girls even got to pet and hold a chicken.
 
 
 
 

No more rain please!

It rain almost the whole month of October. The pictures are of just one day, but this happened fequently all month. Then right before Halloween we had a tornado come through about 3 miles from where we live that tore up everything pretty good. We are very blessed and lucky we didn't have any damage. Now, a hurricane is coming! Hopefully the storms will be mild. Never a dull moment around here.

Bailee's first Bass
